Malaysia is known for its beaches, rainforests and mix of Malay, Chinese, Indian and European cultural influences. Climate Malaysia is a tropical holiday destination, where temperatures fluctuate between 25 and 35 degrees during the year. It is usually very hot and humid, especially in the major cities. Industries Manufacturing constitutes the largest single component of Malaysia's economy. Tourism and primary commodities such as petroleum, palm oil, natural rubber and timber are other major contributors to the economy. Currency The unit of currency is Malaysian Ringgit indicated as RM.
